OK, when you say that people "Leeroy", are you speaking of the person playing or of their in game avatar? There's a world of difference.
Case A: If it's the in game avatar, they're probably just trying something out to see what the game does or shows them. The avatar won't be destroyed no matter what they do (although there is an in game price to pay) so they feel free to try things they never would in real life.
Case B: If you mean the actual person doing it to themselves in the real world, then I have to say you're wrong. People who don't like games have tried to link them to selfdestructive behavior before, but the arguments never stand up.
People play games for many reasons, one of them being to escape the limitations of their everyday lives. Playing games with others also requires you to think and encourages social interactions. Thus, they can be much more rewarding than any single player game.
I think you need to think about WHY you came to your conclusion. If you feel you shouldn't play because of that, then say that you won't play and why. More injustices have come from people saying "You shouldn't do that!" than from saying "I shouldn't do that"; that first way of thinking is far more dangerous than any game.
