'Yo its yer Bro' Were always the first words I would hear at the beggining of any telephone conversation I had with him. And ones most clearly in my memory now. Why do share this? Well I would like to say how much of a comfort it is knowing that his conversations meant so much to you all and was typical of how little he had to do to make each message feel very personal to the person it was addressed to. He was not given to talking about his online activities much but I know from the times that he would come by to help me with my computer or just to have a bit of tea (evening meal for those wondering) that he never missed an opportunity to 'check his numbers' or chat. I guess it is the Catch 22 of family life that you often only find out how much of a difference someone makes to people's lives and how much pride you can rightly take in them when they are no longer there to tell. My son is asleep behind me as I type and I shall have no hesitation, when he asks about his Uncle, in recommending that he seek out this forum. I will also ensure this page is bookmarked so his Mum and Dad (who still get 'lost' navigating) get to see and appreciate it as much as I have.
Thankyou all Robert
PS
Not knowing his log on and not really understanding (yet!) how these forums work, if this posting is likely to get buried, could someone give it a higher profile? R
