I have ordered flowers for the funeral on behalf of the Rinkies. I hope I haven't overstepped. If anyone else wants to, I'm sure there's no such thing as too many flowers.
Ciaran is going to be going to the funeral, and I've asked him to write a note in the condolence book for us.
If anyone wants to donate to a charity suggested by Beasty's family (in memory of Andy Jones)-
The link for Cancer Research UK is http://www.cancerresearchuk.org/
The link for the Salvation Army is http://www2.salvationarmy.org.uk/uki/www_uki.nsf
The link for Macmillan Nurses is: http://www.macmillan.org.uk/
All three sites have direct donate/support links on their pages.
Somehow, at some point, someone got confused and thought Beasty and I were in a romantic relationship. The two of us found this hilarious, and used to joke that if I wasn't happily married, and he didn't live 5,000 miles away, we could have been a lovely couple. Our greetings were always "Hello, Beasty Darling," and "teach! Ma Cherie!"
I am still finding it hard to imagine never seeing or saying that again.
