Tried to post this a while ago... I hope it works this time.

It was RU3, time to cook lunch on the grill, and I was exhausted and getting frustrated with the way the grill and the food weren't cooperating. Beasty cheerily took over the cooking duties and had the time of his life doing it. I don't know why that's such a vivid memory, years later. Maybe because it summed up, in a single succinct image, how he was, seemingly every time I ever saw him, online or off: relentlessly upbeat, constructive, and considerate.
That is also my most vivid image of him, grinning ear to ear with the hamburger flipper in hand, declaring how silly it was of us to import a Brit to do our barbeque. He loved it!
I always thoroughly enjoyed Beasty's company, while grilling or otherwise. It was wonderful to see his cheerful self around. He will, indeed, be very sorely missed.
