That injured ankle was a termporary thing, so I don't need any help these days. I'm old, but still able to walk long distances and I can handle luggage. But anytime I find I need help, I won't hesitate to go back to the cane, even if walking is not the problem. It's just easier that way.

My mother and sister both traveled at times when they needed wheel chairs, and the airlines did a great job of helping them. They were both very impressed. Airlines have all kind of handicapped proceedures in place, but they also hire the kind of people who are quick to assist you. Now if they could just make that center aisle a little wider.
