One time my sister from California met me at our other sister's house near Boston. They all went to work, so we rented a car and drove all the up to Maine. It poured rain like the tropics and that California girl was just plain tickled pink. She said she had not seen rain like that in years.

But shortly after she retured to Ventura County they had a storm that washed out roads and caused landslides and she got stuck in L.A. overnight.
