Let's see, Batman weakened Supes with Kryptonite until the Man of Steel died. I don't think that rock would have the same effect on Ol' Winghead.

What could Batman realistically do to Cap? Throw smoke/gas pellets? Captain America would do some sort of athletic flip and jump and spring out of the cloud. Whip a batarang at his head? Blocked by the shield. Everything Bats could throw at Cap, Cap could either block or avoid. Same thing with whatever Cap could throw at Batty-boy. They're evenly matched, but Batman would drop first.
