I hate to rub it in, but. . .

For the benefit of those of you in snowy climates, I guess I should mention that the buttercups in my yard have buds ready to open. The same is true of forsythia, which I have probably mispelled, and the little pink bush. I expect to see crocus blooming this weekend. I have already seen robins. Spring is crouching ready to spring out at us at any moment. A week from now it will be March. Frost is still a possiblilty even into April, but warm days will bring out the tiller and the scooters. I am going to need the chain saw to clear away some of the fall and winter tree damage. Even lawn mowers will be waking up in a short time. The late fall means that there are still dead leaves in some places, and if there is no grass yet, I can use the mower to pick up those.

But for now, I am off to Georgia, leaving in a few mintues, and I think spring may have already pounced down there.
