I've never thought of stock car racing as a sport. It's interesting, though: lots of engineering ahead of time, strategy for when to do things like pit or try to pass, and some endurance and hand/eye coordination by the driver. Also, the aforementioned fast cars and possible crashes.

Still, I probably won't reconsider my opinion until they get it(auto racing) in the Olympics...
