I would prefer sitting outside watching track and field (boring!), to standing out in the snow watching alpine (exciting!).

This is what I was thinking, too. I loathe (LOATHE!) the cold (although I've lived my whole life in Wisconsin. Crazy woman.), but I find the Winter Olympics far more interesting. Figure skating can actually make me cry, but, although I swam competitively for 10 years, few things make me yawn more than that. So, I voted for Summer Olympics whether or not I wouls want to be there in person, not on which was more interesting.
