I love the Winter Olympics. And I am British. At least you Americans have your countrymen and women actually WINNING things. No, I lie, we have a silver medal in women's skeleton bobsleigh and our men's curling team are currently playing their semi. But if Scotland decided to play as a separate country from England, we would be left with Chemmy Alcott the downhill skiier and maybe some of the men's bobsleigh team.

And still I love it. I still enjoy the Summer Olympics (although negotiating the London Underground in 2012 is going to be interesting) but Winter wins for me, I don't really know why . It's not going to be on for much longer, so the Olympic haters can rest easy. Or they could watch 'The Cutting Edge' to get into the Olympic figure skating groove. Or not...
