> So I was hoping one of you Rinkies could help me out. It was an Asteroid-style game, except that it was a huge RPG. The game took place inside YOUR computer. You shrink yourself down to a microscopic level and fly inside on a cool ship you just happen to have lying around. Your computer has been infected with viruses and you have to go around and blast the heck out of 'em. You can join up with clans of (fake) people and engage in clan wars, it sounds like an online game but it's not. You can fully customize your ship, the paint job and style, among preset designs. (I liked the Berzerker!!) Your weapons are everything from pulse lasers to nukes to launching beer bottles! There's even a law, and if you waste innocents or destroy too many uncorrupted files, you get tried before the computer, and if found guilty you can lose extra lives, lose the game, and other bad stuff. The cool part about the game was that it used actual filenames from your computer and integrated them into the game. If you downloaded AOL (For some reason) You can find that file in the game and blow it up! (This doesn't have an effect on your computer, just your files.) So that was my favorite 2D overhead space shooter RPG...thing I ever had, but I FORGOT THE NAME!!! I was looking desperately for it, and if ANYONE has any idea what I'm talking about PLEASE help me out!!! > > zK
I remember I loved playing that game. It's called Inner Space. I think I played it in the same collection as you did, actually. Was the collection called "Nothing but Action"?
