Those zany cruise directors

People who work as cruise directors are usually funny, outgoing, personable, etc., etc., etc., but the one on the cruise we took earlier this month was beyond that. He was a fine stand-up comic, somewhat loose jointed, and a ball of energy. One of a cruise director's responsibilities is to introduce the evening show in the main theatre. So one night this character gets up and comments that, yes, the sea is a little rough, but the show will go on. Then he pointed out that there was nothing to worry about even as we cruised a rough sea, with a full moon, on Friday the 13th, through the Bermuda Triangle. Just a little cruise humor I suppose.
