stuck again on EFSM just when I was on a roll - poss spoilers

Inventory: Time Machine
Chain
Eraser
Beaker
Chalk
Glue Stick
Blue Paint
Cup of Tea
Lighter
Bottle Cap
Earthworm Sample
Mirror

So far I've done everything except get the gold, and the "dead organic matter." I'm back in time again, and I know they "definitely do not want leaves".!
Re the gold, I seem to be looking for a boy, but I've been to the basketball court but no luck.
I seem to be totally stuck now. Any hints please?
