NYC lies at 73 degrees 58 minutes. If you travel due south from there, you run into an island in the South of Chile, but before you get to Patagonia. This island contains such cities as Ancud and Castro. If you continue south, you will run into the Patagonia regions.

The principal summit appears to be the Grand Teton at 13,772 ft.
