You must complete a whole ring (without using the broken ones? if I remember correctly) or else you need to go somewhere and get them fixed
Sorry but it has been some time now that I finished POA and don't remember well but on the notes I found I only have one broken link! (between 1 and 6)
Try to make a diagram
