I'm fairly sure you won't be needing the earthworm.... I'm almost finished with the game and still haven't used mine; I think it's a red herring. In general, with Adventure Games Live, it's good to NOT be thrown off by the contents of others' inventories as posted in hints forums--they'll only confuse your logic, like the earthworm has apparently done.

If you're thinking about the source of the methanoic acid and are under the impression that THAT's what you need the earthworm for, you're barking up the wrong tree. Do earthworms bite and/or sting? Naaahhh. But you've probably already come across another insect who does.

If you've already located suitable prey for Mrs. Awatif, then once you finish up with the chemistry teachers, feeding Mrs. Awatif should be pretty *cough* straightforward.

Problem-solve your way through the dead thing for the physics teachers. See if there are items in your inventory that do different things in the past than in the future--it should be *cough* glaringly obvious once you figure out what you need to use.
