Exaggeration is one of my trade marks. That, along with the absolute fact that I am a 17-year-old trapped in an old body. I also lay claim to a twisted mind, which allows me to tell the truth even when the facts are a different story. Some people tend to take things too seriously, but I enjoy an almost constant state of denial.
The bottom line is that I enjoy life practically all of the time. Yes, there are times when reality gets in the way, but good times should make up for the bad.
Right now, I am facing the fact that a guy who grew up in this neighborhood is missing and may not be found. But the good times we had yesterday, seeing old friends and visiting with relatives that we don't see very often, sort of offsets some of that. That's the way life is. Enjoy the good times. Howard
