I don't think the door opens to the earth... I think it opens to the
mysterious 'background world' where (for the purposes of this
logo) the letters' colors come from. Most of the background the
door reveals is blue, like the 'g', but you can see yellow bleeding
over from the neighboring 'o's territory. That's how I interpreted
it anyway.

And it seems clear to me that there's a three-part series... the
third is yet to come. No doubt it will reveal what the cat and
mouse, in an admirable spirit of holiday co-operation and unity,
are providing power to (did you notice the mouse is holding an
extension cord?) I'm guessing it's the letters.
