The Zork games would have been better examples. They are EXCELLENT text-based adventure/roleplaying games. They have the same level of humor as FQ and they are even bigger. I have them all, and if you would like to have them I'll e-mail them to you. They are GREAT time-wasters for playing off-line. When you get sick of solitare or just want to get off the internet, roleplaying/adventure games are a godsend. I have never had that experience, but when I'm bored I play those and they just make you well uh, un-bored!
