The Christmas season is always busy, but this year is going to be a humdinger. In addition to the usual stuff, we are expecting a two-week visit from our niece from California. Lots of other relatives will be here for shorter periods. There is my sister's birthday on the 24th, Christmas, our anniversary on the 30th, New Years Eve, our 50th anniversary party on Jan. 1, my wife's birthday on Jan. 9 and somewhere about that time we will be leaving for a cruise.

This week, we will spend a few days in Lascassas (TN) and a few days in Kennesaw (GA)next week. Tomorow, we will be in Maryville (TN) for our grand daughter's birthday a few days late. We also need to make all of the preparations for parties, trips, and celebrations.

We will need that cruise to get some rest.

One of the kids recently said, "But, Dad, it's like this every year." But this year I'm older. Aren't we all?
