We came home yesterday from four days in Georgia. We had not been here long before I came down here to check the email.

After about an hour surfing around on the computer, I noticed something. There was a glasses case among the organized clutter on the computer table. (OK, scratch "organized.") There was a pair of glasses in it and they looked like my old ones. However, they had single focus lenses, made for someone who is near sighted. I have never had such glasses as mine have always been bi-focal or more recently tri-focal, so they weren't mine. But whose?

It would not be unusual for someone in our extended family to drop by to use our computer. Maybe they had a computer problem at home. But none or our clan is known to have glasses like that. We are still calling around checking.

But I still worry a little. Could someone have somehow broken in without leaving any sign of forced entry? The house is 40 years old and not exactly burglar proof. Could some total stranger have been sitting here using the computer in our basement den, and then left without their glasses?

We haven't missed anything, so I guess we will wait until someone misses their glasses. Stay tuned.
