I didn't find it on the web or in my dictionary, but abesinni is a tropical fruit from which a sauce called abesinnia is made. It is used on meats and vegetables and is common on many islands of the South Pacific. The fruit grows on a palm tree called a paletto palm. As far as I know there is no country named Abesinnia.

Abesinnia is made by removing the single seed and peel from the abesinni fruit and then mashing it up in a wooden bowl. It is left to ferment for a few days and is preserved by the alcohol that results from the process. It has a slightly sweet taste and reminds some people of clove or nutmeg.

I learned all of this while traveling and using my somewhat uncontrolled imagination. Those Pacific Islanders eat stuff like poi, so why not abesinnia?
