Did anybody besides me watch the Dateline NBC interview with Peter Jackson about the upcoming King Kong film? It was on tonight.

Peter Jackson looks DIFFERENT. As someone who owns all three of the extended edition DVDs of Lord of the Rings and has watched them through, I am used to the Peter Jackson who looks like a scruffy hobbit wearing a bubble coat. Not a scruffy looking but thin man in a sweater!

They did brief interviews with Philippa Boyens and, er, that WETA guy whose name escapes me at the moment. The brief clips of the film they showed looked NIFTY and now I want to go SEE it.

Afterwards they interviewed Jack Black, who has a leading role in the movie. He's a cracker.
