For the past couple months my fiance has been out of town, so I've had no motivation to make a nice dinner every night. Instead I'll cook one big meal, and have that for lunch and dinner for a week. I also freeze a bit for later. Sometimes if it's really good, it will end up breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

I like pretty much all food, and would eat all food regularly if I wasn't so preoccupied with other things than eatting :) Also, there's nothing like a new gadget to bring on new food phases. I got a cool new Japanese style teapot for brewing loose leaf tea, so for the past 3 weeks I've been drinking tea non-stop.

Can you translate "edamame" into some dialect that I can understand? "Southern" is good, or maybe "Redneck." I'll bet it turns out to be grits.

I had a little trouble the first time "top ramen" came up on RinkWorks. I had never heard of it before, but now I have a granddaughter who practically lives on the stuff. It looks like some kind of deformed noodles to me. Maybe I'll try it sometime. I had stewed turnips today. They were the first of the season and fresh out of the garden so they were gooooooood.
