This could be told in flashback; I intend the story to be set a few months after the movie.

Oh, I'm definitely keeping Jaffar in the picture. He has to be on hand to offer his own view of things as a foil to Sinbad. Eventually I mean for Sinbad and Jaffar-in-a-bubble to be forced to get through a portion of the adventure together. Sort of a Pinky and the Brain arrangement, or something like.

Soukra will be around, too, though I haven't figured out quite what to do with her yet.

Not sure I follow you. Is it that you dislike the Jaffar-in-a-bubble concept, or think the writing is bad (which of course it is), or think the whole thing is a bad idea altogether (which it might be)?
