This IS a creative writing class. You write something on RinkWorks, and a bunch of other writers read it and will tell you what you did wrong. For example, forgetting to include a link.

All my life I have thought of myself as a writer. I dreamed of being published and making lots of money. I even worked as a journalist on a part-time basis while I was in college. So far, I have had a few letters to the editor and one magazine article published. But I have written a ton of stuff on the internet, probably more than half of it on RinkWorks. I keep a couple of blogs going and post on Yahoo's Cushmangroup.

The advantage that I have now is that I no longer feel the need to make a career of it. I can write all I want and it makes on difference if anybody reads it or not. It's the best of both worlds. (The world of a writer and the world of someone who needs to make a living, I guess) I don't have to kiss up to publishers and I can even decide if I want a by-line.
