POA - near end - rubber tubes

PLEASE help - near the end - have Johnson in place - built shield but need to complete task in kitchen before I can continue i.e take shield
Have 3 tubes - but each time I try to get the 4th tube near my place than I now can reach - beetles fall down onto me. How do I kill them? or is there another way to get this tube.
