I'm going camera shopping tomorrow, and thanks to Chrysanthemum, wintermute, Ferrick, and Sam, I have a pretty good idea of what I need. (Thanks, Y'all.)I hope I have time to figure out a new camera, because we leave Wednesday for the Southeastern Cushman Club fall meet in Hiawassee, Georgia. I always find pictures ready to be taken at scooter meets.

Tomorrow is loading day. I had planned to leave the trailer at home, but the price of gas is down slightly, so I may take it after all. I can load and tie down a scooter in about 30 minutes, so two on the truck and one in the trailer should take about an hour and a half. That will leave an empty space in the trailer, just in case. One of the sad songs I hear at scooter meets is, "I can't buy a scooter until I sell one." That has nothing to do with money. It's just that some people leave for a meet with a full load.

If you ever go camping in Northern Georgia, Look up the Bald Mountain Park near Hiawassee. They have a pool, a lake, a stream, paved roads, hookups, and shade trees. It's nice and modern and well kept. We have been meeting there every September for several years. Some people come a week early and stay a week after the meet ends.
