We just had a visit from a nephew from California. He has recently moved to Florida, and came up to visit. The interesting thing is that he hadn't seen our house in more than 25 years, and he couldn't get over how much the place had changed.

First, he remembered it was a lot larger, because he was a little kid the last time he was here. Also, we have remodeled a little and added some rooms to the back. The old black iron posts on the porch and carport have been replaced by white columns,and we added shutters, which is about the normal amount of changes in that much time. But he said it all looked different. He admired my scooter collection, and the old antique tractor in the back yard.

But now he is on his way back south and it didn't seem like he was here for very long.
