ARGHHH-I just cannot get to mr shanks

ARGHHHHHHHH!!!

I am so frustrated. Obviously, I have been to dinner before. I know the outisde moves are what count. I tried repeating (over and over and over again) the trip I took last time. I have also tried over and over and over again different numbers of moves outside before going back for dinner.

I have tried again and again asking the propritess about mr shanks before I go out, in case that makes a difference, and also asking where the hall way leads to (because then she tells you what time dinner is at) again and again before going out - after setting off from my room in the mroning.

This is driving me absolutely mad. I'm feeling like I need to give up the game now.

Please help me.
