I'm afraid I don't have a gorgeous description for the sunrise I saw this morning... we left the hotel where we had our retreat at 7, and the sun was just rising... the sky was rather cloudy, but they stopped a little ways above the horizon, and in the space between the hills and the clouds, the sky was tinged a gorgeous orangy-pink.... we all sat there gaping out of the bus windows. There was a gorgeous sunset Friday (or maybe Saturday, I forget) night, too.... I'm looking forward to President's Day weekend in February, when my youth group will go on a retreat to Ocean City, MD. The hotel we stay in is right on the beach, and it's a bit of a tradition to go out and see the sunrise one morning.... absolutely beautiful, I did it in Nags Head after bike trip, as well. (Of course, then we go polar bearing, which I didn't do two years ago but am going to this year, eek)
