It seems weird that you're refuting an argument that wasn't made. I thought Ferrick was saying that it is obvious what Ferrick's answer is, not that Ferrick's answer was obvious to him. But if the latter was correct, he didn't say *why* it's obvious to him, so I don't understand why you would guess why and then refute it.

For me, the answer is obvious simply because God's presence is manifest to me spiritually, and my existence being purposeful just comes out in the wash from that. It's obvious to *me*, I hasten to add, and I (Ferrick too, from his wording) certainly acknowledge that the answer is not going to be obvious, or even the same, for everybody.
