First off, you need to sneak upstairs again and vandalize the curtain at the end of the hall.
Next, consider just WHO you received the map from. She's not all there, it seems. It might be prudent to ask another Lucky Strike resident about her to verify that she has any sort of credibility - probably someone who's already grateful to you.
