Murkon's Vengeance: Level 7- Possible Spoilers

I think I'm literally stuck. I was having problems finding the last red monster to group to kill so I tried a teleport stone. I'm now in the area containing the exit (and a nearby monster portal but the walls are arranged so that I can't get out from the exit near the two pools. Unfortunately, I've killed everybody so I can't get back to my last checkpoint. Any suggestions short of starting the level over???? Thanks!
