The only real drawback is that it comes in glass bottles with poky caps, so that if you close your fingers around it but don't manage to get the cap off, you have to wait a while before you try again. > > Nyper"Or get something to protect your fingers. Yes! It is The Switch! We must have crossed paths posting, as I just mentioned it in this thread (92081.shtml)! Hehe.
I personally don't think glass bottles are a downside. This is partly because I have trouble getting tops off a lot of things (and I definitely have encountered metal tops that are impossible to get off, which these aren't quite) so it isn't as much of a defining point for me. But also, the glass makes it fun to drink as well as helps it stay colder longer. As they've grown as a company, they've been able to expand distribution locations, increase the number of different flavors they offer... and to put their soda in cans! Some places don't allow glass bottles and of course some people prefer cans, but another cool thing is that they were trying to get it sold in schools (not sure if this has happened anywhere yet) and cans make that easier.
It's something I find fun to follow as this beverage started in my hometown! And even before The Switch was on the shelves here, probably a couple years before, I sampled a citrus variety of amazingly delicious carbonated-juice-with-nothing-extra-at-all-added and fell in love with it and almost proposed to the nice elderly lady behind the table.
