Georgia on my mind

I just arrived in Georgia. It was too hot in Tennessee and gas was $2.45 a gallon. Down here, it's way too hot and gas is $2.54. My wife filled up the car yesterday and for the first time in her life, paid over $40 for a fillup.* She's still in shock. I think our trip to Pennsylvania will be canceled.
I never feel sorry for the fat cats, but I would not like to be a car dealer with a lot full of gas hog ego vehicles. I also wouldn't want to be the honcho of a resort that is days from anywhere. And can you imagine how much it costs to run a 35 foot boat a hundred miles up the lake? How would you like being stuck in southern Florida with a motor home, towing an SUV, and you live up north somewhere? But I suppose the fat cats can afford it.
Maybe we need to feel sorry for the minimum wage people who have to drive a 1970 Caprice to work and it's ten miles each way. Howard *It's a small car.
