My (correct) opinion has not changed, nor will it ever. If cheese is removed from a cheeseburger, then it it is no longer a cheeseburger, but a hamburger. Therefore, the cheese is an integral and intrinsic part of a cheeseburger, and cannot be considered a topping.

Furthermore, I would argue that cheese should not be considered a possible "topping" for a hamburger either, since the very act of adding cheese to a hamburger in essence ends the sandwich's existance as such and transforms it into a cheeseburger.

This is the power of cheese.

Gri"pizza places do not consider cheese a topping either... a pizza with no toppings is a 'cheese pizza'"shny
