You didn't see the store at all?

Wait... does that mean you rode the unicorns before even investigating what there was to see south of them?

The good news is that you do have the ticket, so you can get back to where you started by cutting through the forest. Go back to the unicorns that way and check out the area just south of them.

As for the cat... bribing that big bunny rabbit will work, but he will only come to help you when you are in immediate danger.
