The Mystery of Brackly Hall--Arrrgh

I have walked outside in every direction I could think of, from
the front gates to the front steps of the Mansion. I go West and
come to a point where I can go no further. I go East, but I can't
go East past the driveway. I'm completely befuddled as to what
I'm doing wrong!
