Fantasy Quest - help?

My inventory is:
Sack
Silver Key
Hammer
Club
Sunstone
Carrot
Gold Key
Nails
Ticket
Oil
Rope
Sword
Bow
Winter Coat
Hook
Shovel
Arrow
Pass Ring
Branch
Scroll
Fishing Pole
Float Ring

I got the password from the soothsayer, but I can't figure out how to get back in the fortress. Is there something I need to do first?
