We set a date about a month ago and we're pretty set on it. The only deciding factor is if Megan will get a job as a Nurse Interim or not. If she does, then we won't have a problem, but if not then we'll probally have to delay the wedding until after she's out of school, and that's not cool. > > We"mysteriously popping in and out"dge
I know that times have changed, but getting married in college was the best thing that ever happened to me. I was 22 and had just started my junior year. I was a part-time employee at the newspaper where Willette was full time. She was a good typist, and a good editor, but she worked as a Linotype operator back in the shop.
We were sure we were right for each other, so we got married.
She edited at typed my papers and my grades went up drastically. We were only 20 miles from her mother's garden, so I began to eat better. She also took over my finances, which were a mess, and straightened that out. My life was vastly improved during my last two years in college. After almost 50 years, she still handles the money, checks my spelling on important stuff, and controls my diet.
There are probably good reasons to put off getting married, but I don't think any of them applied to us. Howard
