Television ads for Las Vegas keep telling us that what happens there stays there. Not true. If you lose your life savings, the problem goes with you where ever you go. And I wonder how many people get married while drunk, and get stuck with some other loser for the rest of their life?
I remember seeing a man in Las Vegas trying to sell an infant car carrier in order to buy enough gas to get home. I'll bet he would have been glad to leave that little problem in Vegas.
Overeat in one of their famous buffets and you might take home a few pounds of fat.
On the other side of the coin, if you win big, you take your winnings home with you. Or do they have a rule against that? If you have a great time and take lots of pictures, you will likely share that when you get home.
The next time you hear them saying, "What happens here, stays here," don't believe a word of it. Howard
