Early years: Camelots Curse dwarf

So, I got the bamboo stick and excalibur and met a dwarf, I tried killing the dwarf (after trying all the other options) and my sword disappeared. I now seem to be stuck in this one scene, the dwarf won't let me go anywhere and I've tried all the options several times. Please help me, any advice would be welcome. Thank you in advance!
