Do movie theaters still show movies on projectors with 35 or 70 mm film? Or is there some new digital technology that uses a disk? I keep imagining a disk the size of 33 rpm LP, but shinny like a CD. Could they scale those things up from pictures the size of a TV to pictures the size of a movie screen? I don't think I've seen it mentioned in Popular Mechanics, my usual source of such information.
