We went to the opening of a new mulitplex theater in West Knox County today. They said it had 18 screens, which I figured would do a dandy job of keeping the bugs out. But one of the movies was about "Herbie" the VW bug, so I guess it didn't work.

This palace had a lobby as big as a gymnasium with a ceiling 60 feet high. There are eight ticket booths. All of the theaterettes had statium seating with very comfortable high-back seats. It is located in a developing business area along the new Parkside Drive. It is about 12 minutes from our house.

We had two grandchildren and a neighbor kid with us so we saw a kiddie movie. I hope to go back sometime and see one where the animals don't do most of the talking.
