Those must be the sliding walls that I read about but I have no idea what to do with them and how to work them so that I don't mess up and have to restart the level over again. I don't think there's anything you can do with the walls that will make you have to restart the level. All the wall switches are toggles, which means that two flips of the same switch will get you back to where you started.

When I mapped the sliding wall rooms, I started by numbering each set of moving walls. Sometimes two adjacent walls moved together, so they got the same number - this is not necessary, but it made my life easier. Then I marked the number on my map where the walls were, and I marked the number primed in the space where the walls could be moved to (e.g. "1" for the wall, "1'" for where the wall could go).

Once I got all the walls numbered, I marked each switch with the numbers of the walls it moved. Then it was relatively simple to look at my map, see which walls needed to be moved, and work out what combination of switches did the trick.

Remember, if you have the best light spell you can see all the effects of the switch you're standing on. That makes life easier.
