The ruleset for RP servers is (as far as I can tell) exactly and in every way identical to the PvE servers. Also, Blizzard doesn't enforce the roleplaying rules. So the RP servers are basically just PvE servers with an RP tag in the server list. With that in mind, the role playing does exist, though it doesn't happen constantly, and I think it's pretty fun. It's nice to run at the alliance screaming "FOR THE HORDE!" instead of "u suxx0r n00bs!". There's a weekly event Hordeside where we talk about the History of Azeroth. But I haven't met any real RP nazis; if you're in an instance and you want to talk about who's pulling what when, you can. I'm enjoying Silver Hand a lot.
