MV-Still stuck lev.5 HELP!

It would appear that I'll need to destroy a minimum of 90 to 100 'blues' to get enough for that bribe. Without doing that I have the chance of a 'snow-ball in Hades" of getting that last RED. Two questions: 1) Are there that many I can kill without getting killed myself and going back to being 6 digits short? 2) Am I allowed to keep playing on Lev.5 for a year or more??? It could take that long to get to lev. 4.
Very frustrating and could sure use some good, sound tips and advice about 'HHAT DO I DO NOW'. Any real help would surely be appreciated. Thanks tons!!! Banan
