MV - Advice and suggestions needed for level 9 (SP?)

Hello: I'm down to only 6 kills left but I may have gotten myself in a jam again because of where at least some if not all of those six are located. I'm at the portal in the hall that is between the two doors. At least two of the red ones are in that big area with the ruins. After going through the door at the end of the hall if you go right you go to that area but if you go left you can get to two pools. There are two reds there. Does anyone have any suggestions for fighting those reds without the monsters to help because I keep loosing them before I get to the reds? In that large area I have tried to get to the portal to get monsters but I keep getting killed. I thought that once I get on the beginning part of that ruins path that I could get to the portal without having to fight but that does not happen. The way is always blocked. Sam could you please check my game to see if it is still possible to get to the reds and kill them without having to restart the level? Thank you to all who give suggestions and advice. Deadman
